What should a laser marking sample test confirm?

Use the actual production material to check mark contrast, quality, speed and material response. Confirm the laser source and installation conditions separately, including extraction, guarding and interlocks. An attractive sample alone does not establish that the complete installation is suitable.

Does laser marking use ink or ribbon?

No ink or ribbon forms the mark, though extraction filters, lens protection and service items may still be required.
