Should I print directly on a carton or apply a label?

Evaluate direct coding when the material and required code suit the printing method. Evaluate print-and-apply when the process requires a variable label on a product, case or pallet. Label position, package presentation and the data source help determine the configuration.

How is print-and-apply different from a label applicator?

Print-and-apply produces variable data immediately before applying the label; an applicator may dispense labels printed earlier.

Can LPA print barcodes and 2D codes?
